We’re currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented part time housekeeper. This role is perfect for someone with childcare responsibilities, as the hours allow you to manage school drop-offs, and pick-ups, before starting work for the day.
As a housekeeper, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the premises remains clean, safe, and welcoming, by performing cleaning and housekeeping tasks in accordance with the employer's standards. All cleaning supplies will be provided. Must be responsible, reliable and detail orientated.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing of communal and public spaces including bathrooms, and kitchens.
- Pay particular attention to high-touch points like door handles, light switches, and countertops.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness across communal areas, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
- Ensure waste bins are emptied and recycling and other waste is disposed of appropriately in accordance with the premises policies.
- Organize and tidy areas as needed, ensuring everything is in its designated place.
- Handle deep cleaning tasks periodically, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, or upholstery cleaning.
- Address specific cleaning needs or requests, including stain removal and sanitizing high-touch areas.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is required.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring safe use and storage of cleaning products and equipment.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
- Adhere to standards for infection control.
- Work as part of the facilities team to ensure smooth operations and coverage.
- Collaborate with other staff or team members when needed.
- Respond to special requests or instructions from supervisors or employers.
- Carry out additional tasks as required by the employer or management.
Qualifications and Experience
✔ Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential).
✔ GCSE Maths / English at Grade C or above or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths.
✔ Current First Aid certification.
✔ Current Safeguarding certification.
✔ Current COSHH certification.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
