Support
Join us for an interactive Lunch & Learn to explore findings from research conducted by London Economics (LE) and The Social Agency (TSA) on behalf of Local London’s Economically Inactive Trailblazer. This research seeks to understand how childcare support can reduce economic inactivity within the Local London sub-region, including key differences across the 9 boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Bromley, Enfield, Greenwich, Havering, Newham, Redbridge & Waltham Forest.
The study combines quantitative analysis, stakeholder interviews, qualitative research, and case studies to inform recommendations. Key themes include:
- Mapping the current childcare support landscape within the sub-region
- Barriers parents face in accessing childcare support
- The impact of childcare access on parents’ economic activity (including training and education)
Are you a parent, an organisation that supports parents, or a business or individual that is working with economically inactive parents?
We want your voice in the conversation! Join us to learn more and provide your feedback on the findings. Your perspective matters and will help shape the next phase of our research.
