Who are we?

RedBorder Ltd, is a London-based consultancy focused on empowering micro and small businesses. We provide practical, affordable, and ethical support grounded in community wealth-building, helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into sustainable enterprises

What do we do / What is our impact / Who do we support?

RedBorder provides practical business support, mentoring and coaching to help founders grow with confidence. Alongside this, our TaskLink initiative connects SMEs with supervised, task-based support delivered by individuals seeking to build skills and work experience. This enables small businesses to free up time and focus on growth, while jobseekers gain real, outcome-focused experience and stronger pathways into employment. We primarily support early-stage and time-poor businesses, as well as individuals who are unemployed or looking to re-enter the workforce. We’re looking to collaborate with employers, funders, and local partners, including DWP teams, local authorities, and enterprise networks who want to create meaningful work opportunities, co-design pilots, and support delivery capacity.

Who do we want to connect with?

We are looking to connect with employers, local authorities, job-seeker support organisations, and training providers who are interested in creating practical pathways into work. For employers, we want to partner with SMEs willing to offer short, task-based work opportunities that support business productivity. For support organisations (e.g., employability providers, Jobcentre Plus, careers services), we aim to collaborate to match skilled unemployed people with structured, outcome-focused tasks that build confidence, experience, and employability. We also welcome partnerships with funders and community organisations who want to improve access to work, strengthen local economies, and support inclusive growth.

Why / What is our ask?

We are seeking support to expand RedBorder’s business support and employability offer, including TaskLink, our managed, task-based model that gives participants real work experience while helping SMEs complete essential business tasks. We want to connect with organisations that can offer funding, referral pathways, participants, and partnership opportunities including local authorities, Jobcentre Plus teams, employability providers, business networks, and employers open to a pilot. Our ask is for collaboration, resources, and introductions to help scale TaskLink and strengthen RedBorder’s mentoring, coaching, and practical business support so we can create meaningful pathways into work and boost SME capacity.

How to get involved / Who to contact

We welcome support through collaboration on pilot delivery, referring participants, funding placements, or partnering to provide wrap-around employability or business support.  Employers can get involved by offering task-based project opportunities for participants through TaskLink.  We also welcome conversations with local authorities, DWP teams, employability providers, business support organisations, and SMEs interested in partnership.  For more information, please contact Deborah  Email: info@redborder.co.uk
